Christian Ordination Papers
Christian Ordination Papers
Credentials within the N.C.C.C. are designated in three categories: Commissioned, Licensed and Ordained. Christians seeking ordination papers will be evaluated for initual recognition as commissioned, licensed or ordained ministers.
Commissioned is not expected to perform all of the ecclesiastical services of a senior clergy person, but are credentialed as supportive or student level for training, life experience and further development into a unique ministry. Accountability and quarterly reporting are important ingredients in one's credibility and reputation development.
Licensed designates ministers who are credentialed with greater responsibility and increased accountability. Quarterly reporting and a more clearly defined ministry are expected. These candidates are likely to be full-time associates or part of a staff of ministers with a specific portfolio or calling.
Ordained or Christian Ordination shall be recognized as persons in full time ministry, who have completed the required courses of study and proven capable of leadership within a spiritual / Christian context. With certain life experience exceptions, the Christian Ordination credential will not be awarded with less than one year of membership with the N.C.C.C. This allows the initial character investigation, four quarterly reports and an annual renewal to have conveyed a more thorough portrait of the candidate for this recognition.
Professional accountability is a significant ingredient in our Christian ordination and credentialing system. Being set apart for the work of the ministry is a highly responsible endeavor, as it is a position of influence and coaching.
This organization stands as a solid reputable clergy administration and church organization, with a mandatory communications system a part of the relationship. If no reporting, no expiration or no disciplinary procedures were in place, such ministerial endorsement would have little value. Christian Ordination must be accountable.
